Description

Loop is a mobile social platform created to provide a safe, accessible, and inclusive space for neurodivergent students at the University of Auckland. It supports the social wellbeing of these students by offering a low-pressure environment where they can connect, share, and interact in ways that honour their communication preferences and lived experiences. Loop was developed in response to the limitations of mainstream social platforms, which are often visually cluttered, overwhelming, and not designed with neurodiverse needs in mind. By prioritising simplicity, inclusion, and meaningful community connection, Loop reimagines what a digital social space can be.
