New Zealand travel culture is individualistic. Reliance on private transport methods coupled with rising costs has brought the need for an alternative means of transportation to become available. Trippa is a New Zealand based solution to this problem, facilitating travel by carpool throughout the country. The app aims to shift travel culture from its individualistic focus to one that is more community based. This is achieved through real-time trip coordination, messaging, and intuitive trip creation with the Google Maps API.
