Description

CITIN is a web-based app that allows the user to upload images of insects and receive species predictions. CITIN's main purpose is to assist biosecurity and lab staff in identifying New Zealand pest Insect species, which is a challenging task but crucial to protecting New Zealands environment and agricultural industry. Currently, CITIN can accurately differentiate a wide range of fruit fly species. Features - Upload insect images for species prediction - Upload images in batches and navigate results - Export prediction results as a CSV - Display species information (e.g. pest status) and exemplar images alongside predictions - View previous results using the results history - Guide page with tips to get the best predictions - Choose what machine learning model to use when processing images - Add new machine-learning models to the system
